Have you ever had an inspiration or thought come to mind and the moment you tell someone your excitement, their first response is the pessimistic reasons why it wouldn’t work? In that moment, it feels like a movie. Is this real? That someone would actually say that? It’s not like we don’t naturally have self doubt, now this person is confirming all the reasons why it would fail.

We have a different vision than others.

When you are happy and exited about anything, its not small. And we encourage you to ride your pink cloud. Not everyone will understand your vision or heart. Although everyone is invited to the club, not everyone can get in.

For many years “pink cloud” was a term coined in some recovery groups as being in a “high on life” state of mind. Though usually met with the idea that you will fall from this so called manic episode of a pink cloud and hit the earth eventually to come back to the reality of life on earth; hell. Well in this club, we have a different reality all together. We question the idea that life has to be hard. We question the definition of recovery. Recovery from what? From an injury, from a childhood, from a lack of spiritual practice, from treating yourself poorly?

Part of recovering means cleaning out the moldy old fruit in the fridge, your skeletons. This process can feel painful. Though no one talks about how you can’t live life with an empty fridge. You need to fill it up. What will you fill it with? Dreams, creativity, imagination, innovation, love, excitement. This part of recovering from whatever you feel broken from is not painful, its the fun part, and that is what you will become. This is the portion we focus on. Meaning, you are not broken you are what you speak into yourself. So we encourage you to stay positive and inspired by your life and the little inspirations that bring you joy, believe. This pink cloud is where we choose to live and the others who want to bring us down from our cloud may not ever understand that we were, born to ride.
